Description
ARABESCATO Calacatta is a type of marble that originates from Italy, specifically quarried in the Carrara area. It is known for its soft white background with bold dusty grey veining, which gives it a unique and distinctive appearance. Arabescato marble is considered a great alternative to Carrara and Calacatta marble due to its exceptional vein patterns and coloring, as well as its relatively lower cost compared to Calacatta. The primary difference between Arabescato and Calacatta is that Arabescato has busier veins and fills in most parts of the slabs, whereas Calacatta has stronger, light grey veins that are slightly larger but with less pattern traffic across the slabs
Additionally, Arabescato is described as having a very white background with dark grey veining, and its veining is not as defined and big as Calacatta
