  • Dimensions (Sheet Size):

  11 3/4" (Width) X 11 3/4" (Length) X 3/8" (Thickness / Depth) - (ALL NOMINAL SIZES)

Calacatta Gold marble is mined from quarries in Carrara in the region of Tuscany in Central Italy and boasts a brilliant white base with prominent gold and silver veins. The distinctive pattern of the marble characterizes Calacatta as the most desirable material in the natural stone universe.

It is generally accepted that this somewhat intricate flooring combination has its design roots in The Palace of Versailles. Originally a humble hunting lodge outside of Paris, the Palace became a symbol of absolutism and the French ancien regime by the time of the French Revolution in the 18th century.
