Carrara marble is mined from quarries in Carrara in the region of Tuscany in central Italy and features a white base with picturesque shades of white and grey. The versatile color palette of Carrara marble complements traditional and contemporary designs.
The subway tile was unveiled in the early 1900’s in the New York City underground subway system and is known for its simplistic and uniform style. The popularity of the design has remained prevalent in American style interiors.
