Product Overview
Premium Cherry Blossom Blush Pink 12" x 12" Honed Marble Tile brings warm romantic colorways, organic mineral beauty, and a smooth satin texture to high-end interior spaces. Crafted from genuine natural marble, the Cherry Blossom Blush Pink collection is celebrated for its soft rose-pink, blush-ivory, and pale coral field interwoven with delicate cream and light gray quartz veining.
Finished to a smooth honed (matte) surface, this tile offers a soft, non-reflective appearance that diffuses ambient light naturally. The classic 12" x 12" square format paired with a standard 3/8" (10 mm) profile makes it an ideal option for primary bathroom floors, full-height shower walls, powder room accents, and decorative kitchen backsplashes where enhanced underfoot safety and low glare are desired.
Recommended Applications
-
Primary Bath & Shower Floors: The smooth honed surface offers better slip-resistance under bare feet compared to polished stone, making it excellent for shower pans and bathroom floors.
-
Full-Height Shower & Vanity Walls: Delivers a warm, spa-like botanical aesthetic without bright light reflection or glare.
-
Kitchen Backsplashes & Accent Borders: Adds a gentle, warm pastel focal point behind cooktops, vanity mirrors, and living room fireplace surrounds.
Design Profile
-
Aesthetic Inspiration: Warm Minimalist, Japandi, Parisian Bistro, Soft Contemporary.
-
Visual Advantage: Matte honed finish softens the pink background tones, creating an organic, velvety texture that pairs easily with subtle design palettes.
-
Complementary Finishes: Pairs exceptionally well with brushed brass, champagne bronze, or matte black fixtures; white oak, cream, or light walnut cabinetry; and white marble or quartz countertops.
Colors and textures may vary slightly between tile batches due to natural manufacturing variations. For a clear representation, we recommend ordering a sample.

Installation and Handling Guidelines
⚠️ IMPORTANT: LIGHT NATURAL MARBLE SETTING & SEALING PROTOCOL
-
Pure White Thin-Set Mortar Required: Light pink marble can be slightly translucent. Always set tiles using a high-performance, polymer-modified pure white thin-set mortar (ANSI A118.4 / ANSI A118.15). Using gray thinset will bleed through the body and permanently darken the stone's pink background.
-
Pre-Sealing Before Grouting: Natural marble is porous. Apply a high-quality penetrating natural stone sealer to tile faces prior to grouting to guard against grout haze and pigment absorption into the honed finish.
-
Dry Laying & Shade Blending: Open multiple boxes and dry-lay tiles before setting to balance veining directions and ensure smooth pink-to-blush shade distribution.
-
Non-Abrasive Grout Selection: Maintain a tight joint and select a non-sanded grout or high-performance flexible grout designed for delicate natural stone.
Care and Maintenance
-
Routine Cleaning: Clean regularly using warm water and a neutral pH natural stone cleaner. Avoid acidic cleaners, vinegar, bleach, lemon juice, or abrasive scrubbers, which will etch calcium carbonate marble.
-
Periodic Resealing: Reapply a penetrating stone sealer every 1 to 2 years (or more frequently in wet shower environments) to maintain water repellency and stain defense.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Cherry Blossom Pink Honed Marble require sealing?
Yes. As genuine natural marble, it is porous and must be sealed with a penetrating natural stone sealer prior to grouting and maintained periodically over time.
What is the difference between honed and polished marble?
Polished marble features a mirror-like high-gloss sheen that reflects light. Honed marble has a flat, satin-matte finish that offers low glare and a softer, more slip-resistant feel underfoot.
Can 12" x 12" x 3/8" honed marble tile be installed on shower floors?
Yes! Honed marble is widely preferred for shower floors because its matte texture offers better slip traction when wet compared to polished surfaces.
