• Alternate returns: Reverse the long and short returns throughout the installation to prevent continuous vertical joints.

• Approved substrate: Install over concrete, masonry or a code-compliant framed-wall stone-veneer assembly.

• Exterior framed walls: Provide the required weather-resistant barrier, flashing, drainage plane, metal lath and properly cured scratch coat.

• Mortar selection: Use a premium mortar formulated specifically for adhered natural-stone veneer and the installation environment.

• Mortar contact: Apply mortar to the prepared substrate and back of each stone as required. Avoid unsupported voids.

• Blend the crate: Distribute darker charcoal stones, medium-gray pieces and brown-highlighted material evenly.
