Installation & Handling Guidelines

⚠️ IMPORTANT: USE THE MATCHING 3D HONED CORNERS

Standard Royal Cream splitface corners have a different surface texture. Use SKU LPNLMROYCRE918COR-3DH when a continuous 3D honed finish is required.

• Approved Substrate: Install over clean, flat, structurally sound concrete, masonry, or properly secured cementitious backer board.

• Mortar Selection: Use a premium white polymer-modified Large and Heavy Tile mortar meeting ANSI A118.4 or A118.15 and approved for natural marble.

• White Mortar Recommended: White setting material helps prevent dark shadowing or discoloration through the light-colored marble.

• Mortar Coverage: Directionally trowel the substrate and back-butter each panel. Exterior, wet-area, and fireplace installations require substantially complete coverage.

• Tight-Joint Installation: Fit panels closely together to create a continuous stacked-stone appearance. Conventional exposed grout joints are normally not used between panels.

• Stagger Panel Seams: Offset vertical joints between courses and avoid repeating panel placement patterns.

• Control Sheet Lines: Dry-fit adjoining panels and adjust individual stone strips where necessary to prevent visible panel outlines.

• Corners First: Establish coordinating corner panels before installing the flat panels. Alternate corner directions between courses for a more natural wrap.

Care & Maintenance

• Remove dust with a soft-bristle brush or vacuum attachment.

• Clean with warm water and a neutral-pH cleaner formulated for natural marble.

• Avoid vinegar, lemon, acidic cleaners, bleach, abrasive powders, and aggressive grout-cleaning products.

• Wipe cooking oils, smoke residue, and strongly pigmented spills promptly.

• Do not use wire brushes or abrasive pads that could scratch the honed surface.

• A penetrating natural-stone sealer may be applied in moisture-, grease-, or stain-prone areas.

• Test all sealers first because some products may deepen the cream coloration.
