Oriental White Marble 1/2" × 12" Pencil Liner Trim provides a clean, dimensional finishing detail for marble tile installations. Genuine Oriental White marble combines a luminous white background with soft gray veining and natural tonal movement, coordinating beautifully with matching field tile and mosaics.

The narrow rounded profile is ideal for outlining backsplashes, framing shower niches, separating tile patterns, finishing decorative bands, and creating transitions between materials. Both polished and honed finish options are currently offered.

This molding is intended principally for wall and decorative trim applications. It should not be promoted as general-purpose flooring or as a walking-surface tile.

Installation Guidelines

Important: Oriental White is a light-colored natural marble. Use white setting material and test all installation products before beginning.

• Use a premium white polymer-modified natural-stone mortar. Gray mortar may shadow through or discolor light marble.

• Dry-lay the pieces and distribute gray veining evenly throughout the installation.

• Confirm that the raised pencil profile works with the thickness of the adjoining tile.

• Apply complete mortar support behind each piece; avoid unsupported sections that could crack under impact.

• Use unsanded grout or a fine-aggregate grout approved for polished marble.

• Test grout, sealer and cleaners on a spare piece before installation.

• Seal the marble before grouting and periodically afterward.

• Install shower applications over a complete waterproofing system.

• Wet-cut with a clean continuous-rim diamond blade intended for marble.

• Provide movement accommodation where required by the installation.

Care and Maintenance

• Clean with warm water and a neutral-pH natural-stone cleaner.

• Avoid vinegar, lemon, acidic bathroom cleaners and abrasive powders.

• Wipe away cosmetics, oils and strongly pigmented spills promptly.

• Use soft microfiber cloths or nonabrasive sponges.

• Reseal periodically according to exposure and the sealer manufacturer’s instructions.
