Calacatta Gold is a porous, translucent natural marble. Use a premium white mortar approved for moisture-sensitive natural stone. Gray mortar can shadow through the marble and discolor its white background.

• Inspect and Dry-Lay: Open several cartons and arrange multiple sheets before installation. Blend gray, gold, and white areas to create a balanced natural composition.

• Check Sheet Alignment: Place adjacent sheets together before setting to confirm that the octagon-and-dot spacing remains consistent and sheet boundaries are not visible.

• Substrate Preparation: Install over a clean, flat, rigid, and properly prepared surface. Wet areas require an approved waterproofing system beneath the tile.

• Mortar Application: Use an appropriately sized notched trowel and flatten mortar ridges where necessary. Avoid excess mortar rising through the mosaic joints.
