⚠️ IMPORTANT: HEAVY NATURAL-STONE WALL INSTALLATION

XL ledger panels are substantially heavier than conventional wall tile. Substrate strength, mortar coverage, flashing, drainage, and exterior support requirements must be evaluated before installation.

• Approved Substrate: Install over clean, flat, structurally sound concrete, masonry, or properly secured cementitious backer board.

• Mortar Selection: Use a polymer-modified Large and Heavy Tile mortar meeting ANSI A118.4 or A118.15 and approved for natural quartzite.

• Mortar Coverage: Directionally trowel the substrate and back-butter each panel. Obtain substantially complete coverage, particularly around fireplaces and in exterior installations.

• Grout-Free Installation: Butt panels tightly together without conventional grout joints. Remove exposed mortar from the face and joints before it cures.
