⚠️ IMPORTANT: HEAVY NATURAL-TRAVERTINE WALL INSTALLATION

XL ledger panels are heavier and more dimensional than conventional wall tile. Substrate strength, mortar coverage, flashing, drainage, and exterior support requirements must be evaluated before installation.

• Approved Substrate: Install over clean, flat, structurally sound concrete, masonry, or properly secured cementitious backer board.

• Mortar Selection: Use a polymer-modified Large and Heavy Tile mortar meeting ANSI A118.4 or A118.15 and approved for natural travertine.

• White Mortar Recommended: White setting material is preferred for light-colored porous stone because gray mortar may affect the travertine’s appearance.

• Mortar Coverage: Directionally trowel the substrate and back-butter each panel. Obtain substantially complete coverage, particularly around fireplaces and in exterior applications.
