Installation and Handling Guidelines

⚠️ IMPORTANT: NATURAL STONE LEDGER PANEL INSTALLATION PROTOCOL

• Substrate Load Capacity & Flatness: Ledger panels are heavy natural stone (approx. 8–10 lbs per sq. ft.). Ensure wall substrates (concrete, cement backer board, or masonry) are structurally rated to carry heavy vertical stone loads.
  
  
• Setting Mortar Selection: Install using a high-performance, polymer-modified Large & Heavy Tile (LFT) thin-set mortar or natural stone mortar (ANSI A118.4 / ANSI A118.15) suitable for thick, un-grouted stone panels.
  
  
• Tight-Joint Installation (No Grout): Interlocking Z-panels are designed to butt tight against one another without grout joints. Stagger horizontal panel joints in a running bond pattern to hide seams.
  
  
• Pre-Sealing & Testing: Apply a high-quality penetrating natural stone sealer after installation to protect against dirt accumulation, water absorption, and staining—especially on exterior or high-use walls.
  
  

Care and Maintenance
