Installation & Handling Guidelines
⚠️ CRITICAL WARNING: NATURAL MARBLE & WATERJET MORTAR PROTOCOL

White Thinset Mortar ONLY (MANDATORY): Light-colored natural marbles (especially Calacatta) are semi-translucent. Setting this tile with grey thinset will permanently darken the stone, causing a muddy or stained appearance. Always use a high-performance pure white polymer-modified thinset (such as MAPEI® Ultraflex 2 White or LATICRETE® 254 Platinum White).

Pre-Grout Sealer Required: Apply a high-quality penetrating natural stone sealer (such as Miracle Sealants 511 Impregnator or StoneTech® BulletProof®) BEFORE grouting. This step seals open stone pores and prevents grout pigments from bleeding into or staining the light marble.

Non-Sanded Grout Selection: Polished or honed marble surfaces can scratch under abrasive floats. Use non-sanded grout or a non-abrasive acrylic/epoxy grout (such as MAPEI® Ultracolor Plus FA).

100% Mortar Coverage: Flatten trowel ridges completely and press sheets firmly into thinset to prevent dark mortar lines or air pockets from showing through the translucent marble.
Care & Maintenance

Routine Cleaning: Clean using warm water and a neutral pH stone cleaner (such as StoneTech® Revitalizer®).

Avoid Harsh Acids: Never use acidic bathroom cleaners, vinegar, lemon juice, bleach, or abrasive scouring pads. Acid will etch marble surfaces and ruin the finish instantly.

Periodic Resealing: Reapply a penetrating stone sealer every 12 to 18 months in wet shower environments or kitchen backsplashes to protect against oil, soap scum, and water penetration.
