MSI approves this quarter round for residential and commercial walls. Do not describe or install it as flooring, a floor shoe, stair trim, or countertop surface.

• Dry-Fit Before Installation: Position the quarter round beside the field tile to confirm its projection, alignment, and coverage of unfinished edges.

• Confirm Color Compatibility: Compare the trim with the adjoining tile under the project’s permanent lighting. White glazes from different collections or production lots may vary.

• Setting Material: Use a white polymer-modified thin-set mortar approved for glazed ceramic tile and the installation environment.

• Wet-Area Installation: Use cementitious or other manufacturer-approved mortar over a complete waterproofing system. Avoid premixed organic adhesive in continuously wet locations unless expressly approved for that application.

• Grout Alignment: Align the trim joints with the adjoining field tile whenever practical. MSI generally recommends approximately a 1/8" grout joint for this ceramic collection.
