Does this look "yellow" in person? Durango Cream is a true neutral beige. Under cool LED lighting, it looks more like "Almond" or "Sand." Under warm incandescent lighting, the honey-gold undertones become more apparent, giving it that classic Mediterranean glow.

Can I use this for a kitchen backsplash? Yes, but keep in mind that the splitface texture is very porous and jagged. We recommend sealing it with a high-quality impregnating sealer to make it easier to clean if food or grease splashes onto it.

Is it okay for a shower wall? Stacked stone is generally not recommended for the inside of a shower because the uneven crevices can trap soap scum and moisture, leading to mold issues that are difficult to scrub away. It is better suited for the dry areas of the bathroom.
