Fujiwa Kasuri Series: Monaco 6" x 6" Glazed Porcelain Pool & Spa Tile is a heavy-duty, commercial-grade porcelain tile engineered specifically for submerged aquatic environments and outdoor waterline applications. Inspired by traditional woven textile techniques (Kasuri), the Monaco colorway features an intricate cross-hatched, linen-like visual pattern with a blend of rich earthy earth-tones, deep slate/navy, and subtle metallic glaze highlights.
Manufactured using high-density porcelain clay fired at extreme temperatures, Fujiwa pool tiles are completely impervious to water absorption, frost-proof, and resistant to chemical degradation from pool maintenance chlorine, salt, and acid balance treatments.

Latex-Modified Mortar Required: Ordinary thinset mortars will fail when continuously submerged. Always set using an ANSI A118.4 / ANSI A118.15 compliant polymer-modified thinset or ANSI A118.3 epoxy mortar specified for submerged pool applications (such as MAPEI® Keraflex Plus or LATICRETE® 254 Platinum).

100% Mortar Coverage: Apply mortar using a notched trowel and back-butter each tile to guarantee 100% solid mortar contact with zero air voids behind tiles, preventing water freeze expansion in winter climates.
