INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS

⚠️ CRITICAL: Due to the extreme weight of these 85-lb caps, you must use a High-Strength Stone Veneer Mortar. A standard thin-set is insufficient for a horizontal cap; a thick-bed mortar is required to ensure the cap is perfectly leveled and securely bonded to the column core.

Manufacturer Recommendations:

• Recommended Mortar: A Type S masonry mortar or a specialized large-format stone adhesive (such as LATICRETE 254 Platinum) for maximum bond.

• Sealing Requirement: To maintain the deep "Black" luster and prevent water absorption, apply a color-enhancing penetrating sealer immediately after installation.
