Installation and Handling Guidelines

⚠️ CRITICAL: TRANSLUCENT GLASS MORTAR & INSTALLATION PROTOCOL

• Bright White Glass Mortar Required: Translucent glass will show thinset color from behind. Always set using a high-performance bright white polymer-modified glass tile mortar (e.g., MAPEI Adesilex-P10with Keraply additive). Standard gray thinset will cause the light mint glass to look dark and discolored.
  
  
• Trowel Ridge Flattening: Apply thinset with a 3/16" x 1/4" V-notch trowel, then knock down/flatten the mortar ridges with the smooth side of the trowel before setting the tile. This prevents trowel rake lines from showing through the translucent glass.
