• Open several cartons and dry-lay the tiles before installation to distribute the lightest, darkest, and most textured pieces evenly.

• Install over a clean, flat, dry, and structurally sound substrate suitable for ceramic wall tile.

• Use a polymer-modified thin-set mortar that meets ANSI A118.4 or A118.15 and is approved for glazed ceramic tile.

• White mortar is recommended to preserve the clean appearance of the creamy-white glaze and grout joints.

• Plan the installation from the center of the focal wall so the pointed picket ends terminate symmetrically.

• Maintain consistent spacing while preserving the handcrafted appearance. Final grout-joint width should follow the tile’s actual dimensional variation and installer recommendations.
