Installation and Handling Guidelines

⚠️ IMPORTANT: UNDERMOUNT SINK INSTALLATION PROTOCOL

• Countertop Substrate Compatibility: Designed specifically for solid surface materials such as quartz, granite, marble, or quartzite. Not recommended for laminate countertops unless specialized undermount support systems are installed.

• Cutout Template Usage: Always use the physical sink or the official MSI 3018 cutout template to trace and fabricate stone countertop openings prior to installation.

• Watertight Fastening: Secure the sink flange to the underside of the countertop using approved undermount mounting clips and brackets. Apply a continuous bead of 100% neutral-cure silicone sealant along the flange edge to guarantee a watertight seal.

• Standard Plumbing Connection: The 3.5-inch drain opening accommodates all standard kitchen basket strainers, pop-up assemblies, and continuous-feed garbage disposals.

Care and Maintenance

• Routine Cleaning: Wash regularly with warm water, mild liquid dish soap, and a soft microfiber cloth or non-abrasive sponge. Always wipe parallel to the brushed satin grain lines.

• Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use steel wool pads, wire brushes, chlorine bleach, or harsh acidic solvents, which can scratch the finish or compromise the steel’s protective oxide layer.

• Preventing Water Spots: Towel dry after use to prevent hard water mineral deposits and spot buildup.
