Terracotta Halo Matte Porcelain Mosaic Tile

Product Overview

MSI Terracotta Halo Matte Porcelain Mosaic Tile brings warm sunbaked-clay color and sculptural geometric character to floors, walls, backsplashes, and feature surfaces. Each mesh-mounted sheet combines circular and square-inspired forms in naturally varied terracotta tones, creating movement and a handcrafted appearance without sacrificing the durability and easier maintenance of porcelain.

The matte surface softens reflections and reinforces the earthy character of the design. Terracotta Halo works especially well in Mediterranean, Spanish Revival, organic modern, rustic contemporary, and warm minimalist interiors.

Installation and Handling Guidelines

IMPORTANT: MSI recommends wet cutting or an appropriate score-and-snap method. Do not dry-cut with power tools because airborne silica dust can cause serious respiratory harm.

• Sheet Inspection: Dry-lay sheets before installation to distribute lighter and darker terracotta pieces evenly.
• Mortar: Use a premium polymer-modified mortar approved for porcelain mosaics and the installation environment.
• Substrate Preparation: Install over a clean, flat, stable substrate. Wet-area installations require a complete approved waterproofing system.
• Sheet Alignment: Use a grout float or padded beating block to embed sheets evenly and adjust edge pieces to minimize visible sheet lines.
• Grout Selection: Choose grout suitable for porcelain mosaics. Test grout color and cleanup method on spare material first.
• Movement Joints: Include movement accommodation in accordance with TCNA EJ171 and applicable construction requirements.
• Order Allowance: Add approximately 10–15% for cuts, sheet alignment, breakage, and future repairs.

• Clean regularly with warm water and a neutral-pH porcelain tile cleaner.
• Use a soft microfiber cloth, non-abrasive sponge, or soft-bristle brush.
• Avoid abrasive powders, steel wool, and aggressive scrubbers.
• Wipe strongly pigmented spills promptly.
