• Inspect Before Installation: Confirm the color, finish, caliber, dimensions, graphic range, and quantity before setting. Installed material normally indicates acceptance.

• Plan the Graphics: Dry-lay or digitally plan the placement before installation. Rotate and arrange the 25 available faces to distribute strong veins and dark areas naturally.

• Substrate Flatness: Large-format porcelain requires an exceptionally flat, stable substrate. Correct surface irregularities before applying mortar.

• Mortar Selection: Use a polymer-modified Large and Heavy Tile mortar meeting ANSI A118.4 or A118.15 and approved for 900 × 1800 mm porcelain.

• Directional Troweling: Comb mortar in one direction on the substrate and apply a skim coat to the tile back. Collapse the ridges completely during placement.

• Mortar Coverage: Obtain at least 80% coverage in dry interior areas and 95% coverage in wet applications, with full support along edges and corners.
