However, for standard shower pans with central point drains, 30x30 tiles require envelope cuts to conform to slopes; using 30x30 tiles on shower floors with linear trench drains or using a smaller mosaic format on traditional shower pans is recommended.
Does concrete-look porcelain scratch or stain like real poured concrete?
No. Real concrete is porous, susceptible to staining, and easily etched by acids. Vitrified Italian porcelain is non-porous (< 0.05% absorption), highly scratch-resistant, and entirely impervious to household acids, oils, and moisture.
Does this tile require sealing after installation?
No. Vitrified porcelain from Ceramiche Refin is non-porous and never requires sealers or topical waxes. Simply clean up grout haze promptly during installation, and the tile is completely ready for routine use.
