Installation and Handling Guidelines
⚠️ IMPORTANT: LARGE FORMAT TILE (LFT) INSTALLATION PROTOCOL

Subfloor Flatness Required: Large format tiles (24" x 48") require an exceptionally flat subfloor. Subfloor variation must not exceed 1/8" in 10 feet to prevent lippage and hollow spots.

Mortar & Back-Butter Technique: Use a polymer-modified Large & Heavy Tile (LFT) thin-set mortar (ANSI A118.4 / ANSI A118.11). Back-buttering the back of each tile with thinset is required to achieve 95%+ mortar coverage.

Lippage Control Systems: Always use a mechanical tile leveling system (clips and wedges) during installation to ensure flush, perfectly flat tile-to-tile edges.

Grout Joint & Offset: Maintain a minimum 1/16" to 1/8" grout joint. When installing in a staggered running bond, offset tiles by no more than 33% (1/3 bond) per TCNA guidelines.
