Installation & Handling Guidelines

Use white setting material and test all mortar, grout, and sealer products before installing the complete mosaic.

• White Mortar Required: Install with a premium white polymer-modified mortar approved for natural marble and the installation environment. Gray mortar may shadow through or discolor lighter stone.

• Dry-Lay and Blend: Open several cartons and arrange the sheets before installation. Balance cream, gray, blue, gold-veined, lighter, and darker sections throughout the surface.

• Inspect Sheet Alignment: Test-fit adjoining sheets and adjust individual edge pieces when necessary to prevent visible sheet outlines.

• Mortar Application: Use a small-notched trowel appropriate for the sheet thickness. Flatten the mortar ridges before embedding the mosaic.

• Embed Evenly: Use a grout float or padded beating block to press the entire sheet into the mortar without creating uneven areas.
